Terms of Service
Effective January 1, 2026. By booking a studio or renting equipment from LightCabin Studios you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions and Key Terms
"Studio" means any production space listed in our catalog. "Equipment" refers to cameras, lighting, audio gear and accessories available for rental. "Client" is any individual or company that books services.
2. Eligibility and Account Requirements
Clients must be at least 18 years old and provide valid government-issued ID at check-in. Corporate accounts require proof of authorization from an officer of the company.
3. Booking, Payments and Deposits
All bookings require a non-refundable 30% deposit. Full payment is due 48 hours before the rental start time. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior result in forfeiture of the deposit.
4. Studio Rules and Usage Guidelines
No smoking, open flames or hazardous materials are permitted. Food and beverages must remain in designated areas. Clients are responsible for returning all equipment in original condition. Any damage is billed at replacement cost plus 25% administrative fee.
5. Liability and Insurance
LightCabin Studios is not liable for injuries, loss of property or business interruption. Clients must carry their own production insurance covering at least $1 million in general liability. We reserve the right to suspend access for policy violations.
6. Intellectual Property and Content Rights
Clients retain copyright over their produced content. LightCabin Studios may use non-confidential footage for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Termination and Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles. Either party may terminate access immediately for material breach.
